About me

I'm Tom, an OpenShift AI and Kubernetes engineer based in Utrecht, working as an independent IT consultant. I was born in Belgium, French is my mother tongue and I work in English every day, so Brussels, Wallonia and the Netherlands all feel like home ground.

I studied computer science at EPHEC in Brussels and graduated in 2024 with high distinction; my final-year project on Kubernetes won the best project prize. Since then I have worked as a system and platform engineer on production OpenShift clusters with high reliability requirements, built AI-driven automation into CI/CD pipelines, and run AI enablement sessions for developers across a large organisation. That last part taught me that adoption is a people problem before it is a tooling problem.

I work directly with you, no account managers in between. You get someone who tests things before recommending them, writes down what was done, and tells you honestly when a tool is not worth it.

    Thirty minutes, free. You explain the situation, I ask questions, we decide whether it makes sense to continue.

    Scoped proposal

    A short written proposal with scope, deliverables, timeline and a fixed price or day rate. No surprises later.

  3. 03

    Delivery and handover

    I build, document and hand over. Your team gets the runbooks and a walkthrough, and I stay available for follow-up.

I work with clients in the Netherlands and Belgium, in English or French, on site or remote.
